Chii

I Love both Chii and the Chobits Anime series. I'm honored to do a critique for your drawing.

Here is my Critique:
Chii - Chobits Anime Series

Outfit - Typical Persocomp dress. Frilly, pretty bows, corset, and multiple skirts. The blouse is very well done. I really like the detail and the shading. The corset and skirts are also well detailed. I feel that the blue inner skirt would work better if it was a light pink color similar to the light pink color in Chii's stockings. The stockings are well done and the bows are a nice touch. Her shoes are nice but I think they seem too plain for the drawing. I suggest that a fancier pair of "Mary Jane" type of shoes or dress shoes with a short heel could make Chii's overall outfit even better.

Chii - Wonderful job drawing Chii herself. Her ear interface attachment is "right on"! Her pose is really nice and overall charming. I Love the shaping of both her arms and legs. Her hands are very delicate and well done. Chii's hair is beautiful and striking. Her bangs are really nice and I Love the flowing hair.

Chii looks like she was startled by something or someone behind her and the look on her face easily shows that. Though it's also possible that she is looking back at the world that she is leaving behind and is a little bit nervous about that. I feel that either interpretation is possible. Something to think about.

Background - Chii has looked up into the sky many times in the series in wonder which makes this a very appropriate setting. It looks like she is in a wallpapered room and making a transistion to the star filled sky above.

Overall - When I was looking at the different artwork to critique your drawing made me pause because both I Love Chii and that it was very well done. You bring out many of the qualities of Chii that I like the most. Wonderful job and keep up the good work.
